Ruby Koans

Prof. Frens turned me onto a method for learning Ruby over at github called Ruby Koans. The basic idea is to learn the language through testing. You run the rakefile, a unit test fails, and you need to go and fix it, learning a little bit about how Ruby syntax works in the process. It's not a perfect system (most of the time, you just need to fill in the proper expected test result, which the error will give you), but it exposes you to a wide range of language features in an incredibly quick manner and also gives you a solid look at Ruby programming conventions.
